FHA Upates On PUD Requirements

Please be advised as per a new FHA mortgagee letter dated 2003-02 FHA no longer is requiring an approval of a PUD as a precondition for placing mortgage insurance on a dwelling. However, a PUD rider will still be required on all FHA loans for PUD’s to be executed and recorded at closing.
